PROJECT #1: A Smart lock residential solution (Eastern Suburbs)

Description: Uri contacted us about getting a smart access solution for his house. In addition to a front gate entrance, he had 4 doors for entry. He needed a convenient keyless system that would allow him to use his mobile phone for access, easily add/delete users (as he regularly has tradespeople and cleaners on-site), and be able to know when his children arrive home.

Outcome: we supplied and installed 4x Kwikset KEVO smart locks to Uri's external entry doors. The advantage of the Kwikset KEVO is that it operates via Bluetooth and can be opened by simply touching it (as long as a connected smartphone or fob is in your pocket or near the lock). Uri can add access to others easily via the KEVO smartphone app. He also has the option to upgrade his KEVO smart locks to have full remote functionality with the new KEVO Plus addition.

For Uri's front gate entrance, we supplied and installed a Lockwood 001 Touch deadlatch because the KEVO smart deadbolts could not be fitted. Although the 001 Touch does not interact with smart phones, it offers easy at-the-lock programming. Uri starts by setting 10 user codes that he can delete at any time. While he and his family can use a proximity card for access, he allocates user codes to others requiring access when he is not at home.

PROJECT #2: A fully integrated wireless access control solution (Sydney CBD)

Description: Egor contacted us on behalf of a company located in Kent Street, Sydney. With over 15 employees and multiple entrance doors (one that is very narrow glass aluminum door), Egor wanted a swipe card system that he could easily control remotely from either his computer or smartphone. He also needed a door bell for visitors and deliveries.

Outcome: we supplied, installed and setup a complete Clay by SALTO system, which is explained in the following introductory video:

A narrow Clay by SALTO Escutcheon with a custom mortise lock was fitted to the glass aluminum door, and a wide body Clay Escutcheon was fitted to the second wooden entry door. Due to the significant distance between the two doors, a central Clay IQ and repeater were connected and hooked to the private Cloud network, offering high security and a very strong, reliable signal. With this Clay system, Egor has full control and can add/delete users, check the audit trail, remotely unlock either door lock, check battery status, and receive notifications on his smart phone. Even if the system goes offline, the SALTO Escutheons continue to operate as normal and existing employees can continue to use their Clay tag fobs.
